APOLLO offers educational programs as a member of Young Audiences of Houston for PK-12 participants in an assembly setting. These innovative and culturally diverse programs introduce participants to the arts through a balance of demonstration and participant interaction through the highest quality artistry. Each performance program is aligned with the Texas state curricula and offers curriculum ties, classroom activities and discussion ideas, extension activities, program goals, objectives, vocabulary words, and teacher resources. All performances are 45 minutes. Single or back-to-back programs available.

SENSORY FRIENDLY SHOWS
APOLLO partners with the national organization Music for Autism to present sensory-friendly interactive performances for children and individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Programs are carefully curated to the sensibilities of the audience often include segments such as "performance time", "conducting session" and "percussion activities."

Camps & workshops
The core quartet of Apollo has inspired and nurtured thousands of students at music camps and workshops across Texas and the United States. Residencies and workshops include Youth Orchestra of San Antonio (YOSA), Texas State University String Camp, Dallastown Elementary Strings Camp (PA), and Baltimore Symphony OrchKids (Baltimore, MD), among others.

COLLEGE-LEVEL CAREER AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Apollo has grown to serve thousands in the Houston area and millions around the world through international broadcasts, live performances, and award-winning documentary and visual media projects. This level of leadership and artistry is utilized for university-level panel symposia and entrepreneurship lectures. Apollo has presented at Career Days, and music entrepreneurship series at Rice University, Seattle University, Texas A&M University, Concordia University (Fargo, ND), Brazosport College, and the Houston Symphony’s esteemed Ima Hogg Competition.
Music masterclasses, workshops and individual mentorship are a core aspect of Apollo's curriculum when working with students aspiring to become career musicians in the 21st century. |
